Well that, and the snazzy hand-painted decoration on their boots. Each piece is hand carved in Indonesia by local craftsmen using the root of bamboo plants. Though bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials in the industry, the root is often discarded. Crafting these beautiful pieces from those often overlooked materials adds to the charm and personality of each piece. In addition to being environmentally responsible, this also supports the local craftsmen.
