Each piece is hand carved in Indonesia by local craftsmen using the root of bamboo plants. Though bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials in the industry, the root is often discarded. Crafting these beautiful pieces from those often overlooked materials adds to the charm and personality of each piece. Hand carved from bamboo root and hand painted. The Body and Head are carved from different parts of the Bamboo, so the color and grain are often not an exact match. Due to the nature of the plant and the hand crafting, the duck heads are oriented in random directions.
